Our pharmacists are trained to provide vaccinations for the following conditions:

• Influenza (Flu) – free for patients over 65 years of age and women who are pregnant
• Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
• Shingles
• Meningococcal disease
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella

It is advisable to phone ahead to book an appointment for a vaccination.  Some vaccines will need to be ordered in advance.

2020 Influenza Vaccinations:

Prior to 28 April only the following people are able to receive a vaccination:

• People aged 65 and over, pregnant women, people with chronic conditions and children with a history of severe respiratory illness. These people will receive a funded vaccine.

• Healthcare and other frontline workers which include emergency services, social services, police, defence, and border control but not supermarket workers. The government does not fund these vaccines.

This is to ensure those at greatest risk of influenza are protected against potentially serious illness.  We all need to work to protect our most vulnerable.
